About Me

About the Blogger
Jasmine Horton is a 23 year old English teacher in Spartanburg, SC. Jasmine graduated from USC Upstate in 2012 and is currently pursuing her Masters's Degrees in English and Divinity from Gardner Webb University. As an undergraduate student, Jasmine was involved in numerous campus organizations, community agencies, and started her own organization called Broken but Healed.

Broken but Healed(bbh) is a non-profit organization for girls ages 5-17 to become exceptional women of God through outlets such as their homes, schools, and communities. Bbh focuses on educational sessions, community service, and parental involvement.

Before attending Graduate school, Jasmine understood the importance of being organized, consistent, and persistent. It is her daily motto to create lists, keep a daily planner, and NEVER procrastinate.

Jasmine enjoys reading, spending time with God, writing poetry, and spending time with loved ones. On the weekends when Jasmine is not grading papers or woking on papers, she likes to go out on the town.

Jasmine's future goals include teaching and working in ministry. Her favorite scripture is 1 Timothy 4:12- "Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in."

About the Blog
This blog came was created after being asked MANY times, "How do you keep up with so much?", "How do you stay so organized?" After hearing many questions, Jasmine decided that her hard work, organization skills, and time management could benefit other college and Graduate students. This blog will provide links, posts, and pictures to encourage students around the world to take their education serious, get organized, and how to overcome other issues that college students are faced with on a daily basis. Stay tuned for all of the upcoming posts and be sure to spread the news!!

My dream for this blog is that college/Gradute students are encouraged, motivated, and inspired to never give up, keep going despite the setbacks, and achieve any dream or aspiration that has crossed his or her mind. Always remember, "You can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens you." Phil. 4:13
